Puzzle Flow
Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 1, 2026In short
Puzzle Flow has no account and no sign-up, and we do not run a server that stores your personal information. Your progress stays on your phone. The app does use a few services from other companies, and each of them handles some information as described below:
- Google AdMob shows ads. The ad-free subscription makes the game ad-free, and ads you choose to watch for a free hint or to save a streak stay available.
- Google Play and RevenueCat handle optional purchases.
- Google Play Games can save your progress to the cloud, only if you choose to sign in.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we are
Puzzle Flow ("the app", "we", "us") is a grid-puzzle game for Android phones and tablets, published by TeamAppForge. This policy explains what the app and the services it uses do with information when you use it.
Information we collect
We do not ask for and do not receive your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, files or precise location. The app has no account, login or registration, and it contains no analytics or crash-reporting service of ours.
The app does not send your data to any server run by us. Information is, however, processed by the services in sections 5 to 8 when you use the features that need them:
- Ads: Google AdMob receives device and ad-related information to show ads (section 6).
- Purchases: Google Play and RevenueCat process your purchases (section 7).
- Cloud save and achievements: Google Play Games stores your saved progress if you sign in (section 8).
Information kept on your device
To work, the app saves some information on your phone:
- your puzzle progress, ratings, hints and an unfinished level;
- your daily and weekly streaks and the dates they were played;
- your settings: theme, language, sound, vibration and notifications;
- whether you have the ad-free subscription, which hint pack purchases were already given to you, and your choice about ads (consent);
- a small note of when you first opened the app and which guides and what's-new screens you have seen.
This information is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data in your phone's settings. If you signed in to Google Play Games, your progress can also be restored from there (section 8). Otherwise we cannot restore it if it is lost.
Notifications
The app can remind you about your streaks and your packs. These reminders are local notifications scheduled on your phone from your progress there; no server is involved. On Android 13 and later the app asks for permission before showing notifications. You can say no, or turn them off at any time in the app's Settings or in your phone's settings.
Google Play
You install and update the app through Google Play. The app uses Google Play's in-app update feature to find out whether a newer version is available, and Google Play's in-app review feature to ask you to rate the app. These are handled by Google Play on your phone, and Google processes information about your device and account as described in Google's Privacy Policy. Google Play may also give us aggregated, anonymous statistics such as installs and crash reports; these cannot identify you.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Puzzle Flow shows ads with Google AdMob: banner and native ads in menus, full-screen ads between levels and when you return to the app, and optional ads you can watch to earn a free hint or to save a streak. Ads are never shown while you play a level.
What AdMob may collect
To request, show and measure ads, AdMob and Google's advertising partners may collect and use, from your device:
- your Android advertising ID and other device identifiers;
- your IP address and the approximate location it gives (country or city level);
- device and app information (model, operating system version, app version, language, time zone);
- how you interact with ads (shown, tapped, watched) and diagnostic information about ad loading.
This information goes to Google, not to us. How Google uses it is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and in Google's Privacy Policy.
Your choices about ads
- Consent. Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), the app shows Google's consent form on first launch, and no ads are requested until you have made your choice. You can review or change it at any time in the app's Settings (Legal, Ad privacy settings).
- Personalized ads. You can limit ad personalization, delete or reset your advertising ID, or opt out of ads personalization in your phone's settings (Settings, Privacy, Ads, or Google settings, Ads).
- Go ad-free. The ad-free subscription (section 7) makes the game ad-free. Ads you choose to watch, for a free hint or to save a streak, stay available.
Purchases (Google Play and RevenueCat)
Puzzle Flow offers optional purchases: an ad-free subscription (monthly or yearly) and hint packs (one-time purchases).
- Google Play handles the payment. We never see or receive your card or payment details. Subscriptions renew until you cancel them in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions).
- RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.) is a service we use to check purchases and unlock what you bought. It receives your purchase information (which products you bought and when, purchase tokens and subscription status), an anonymous app user ID it creates for your installation, and basic device and network information such as platform, app version, country and IP address. We use it only to confirm your purchases, to give you your ad-free access and hint packs, and to restore them if you reinstall the app or ask the app to restore purchases. RevenueCat does not receive your name or email address from the app. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
- Which hint pack purchases have already given you hints is also remembered on your phone, so a purchase never gives its hints twice.
Purchase records are also kept by Google and RevenueCat for as long as the law and their own policies require, for example for accounting, tax and fraud prevention.
Google Play Games (cloud save and achievements)
You can optionally sign in to Google Play Games from the app's Settings. The app never signs you in by itself. If you sign in:
- the app saves your progress to Google Play Games' cloud save: the levels you solved, your streaks, your hint balance and which guides you have seen. This lets you continue on a new phone;
- the app reports your achievements to Google Play Games, so they appear on your Play Games profile;
- Google handles your Play Games profile, player ID and this saved data under Google's Privacy Policy and the Google Play Games Services terms. We do not receive your name, email address or profile; we only read and write the saved game and achievements through Google.
If you do not sign in, none of this happens and your progress stays on your phone. You can turn Google Play Games off in the app's Settings, and you can manage or delete your saved games and Play Games profile in the Google Play Games app or your Google account.
Information the app reads on your device
The app reads a few facts about your phone to work correctly, for example the Android version, the app version and the time zone and clock (for daily puzzles and reminder times). Some of these facts are also read by the services above, as described in sections 6 to 8. We do not store them on a server.
Third parties
The app uses these services from other companies. Each processes information under its own privacy policy:
| Service | Used for | Privacy policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform | Ads and the consent form | |
| Google Play (including Play Billing) | Installing, updating, payments, ratings | |
| Google Play Games Services | Optional cloud save and achievements | |
| RevenueCat | Checking purchases and subscriptions | RevenueCat |
The app is also built with open-source software libraries that run on your phone and do not send your personal information to us. Sound effects are from the "Interface Sounds" pack by Kenney, released under the CC0 public domain dedication.
Children
Puzzle Flow is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children under 13 (or under the age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not contain links to social networks or in-app chat. If you believe a child has given personal information to one of the services above through the app, please contact us and the service so it can be deleted.
Your rights and choices
We do not hold personal information about you, so there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on our side. You are in control of what is on your device: you can erase it at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app.
For information held by Google, Google Play Games or RevenueCat, depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or UK GDPR, or the laws of some US states) you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export it, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise these rights with those companies, using their privacy pages linked above and the controls in your Google account and phone settings, or write to us and we will help you reach them. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
Your progress is stored on your device and protected by your phone's own security (such as the screen lock and Android's app sandbox). Data sent to Google and RevenueCat travels over encrypted connections. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International transfers
Google and RevenueCat may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. They protect it under their own policies and the legal safeguards they describe.
Changes to this policy
If the app starts to use new features or services that change what is collected, we will update this policy before the change is released and change the effective date at the top. Please check this page from time to time. The latest version is always available from the Settings screen of the app.
